Some random pics from Day 1
This was a very long day and a proper baptism to the Camino.
I had planned to only walk 15 miles but due to the fact that the way marks are poor and I was often distraced by shiny little villages, some taking me 10 miles of of my way (30 minutes in a car but 4 hours on foot)
So I eventually did 26 miles, very hard terrain. 3, 000 ft ascents and descents (several of them)
Met some great people, some truly inspiring (thanks for the nice chat Emily – and cake)
Am writing this at the end on Day 2 because I basically collapsed in to bed last night after 11 solid hours of walking
52,000 steps taken 🙂
But, loving it so far!
